Updates

GST Manager is a cloud-hosted app. All updates, bug fixes, and new features roll out automatically on our servers.

Zero maintenance required

• Automatic updates: You never need to download new files, overwrite code, or upload zip packages.
• Always on the latest version: When you open the app in your Shopify admin, you are always using the most recent release.
• Your settings are safe: Updates never alter your saved business details, invoice sequences, or product tax rates.

If Shopify asks for updated permissions

Occasionally, a major new feature may require an additional Shopify permission (for example, reading a new type of order data).

When this happens:

1. A standard Shopify notification will appear the next time you open the app.
2. Click Update app (or Approve) to grant the new permission.
3. You will be redirected immediately back to your dashboard.

This is a standard Shopify security procedure ensuring apps cannot access new store data without your explicit approval.

Viewing release history

To see what has changed across recent versions:

• Check the in-app announcement banner on your dashboard.
• Read the official Changelog.
• Check the version notes on the Shopify App Store listing.
