Configuration
All app settings live under Apps → GST Manager → Settings. The main page is a hub with 6 sections. Click any section to view and edit its settings.

Whenever you make changes, click Save in the bottom bar to apply them.
1. Business Settings
Your registered business identity appears in the supplier header on every invoice:
- Open Settings → Business Settings.
- Enter or update your Business legal name, Primary GSTIN, Registered state, Phone number, and Contact email.
- Tip: Click Refresh from Shopify to auto-fill your name, email, and address from your Shopify store profile.
- Click Save.
2. Tax Configuration
Control how GST rates apply across your products:
- Open Settings → Tax Configuration.
- Tax scope — choose Tax only products marked taxable in Shopify (recommended) or Tax all products.
- Default GST rate (%) — the fallback rate (usually 18%) used when a product doesn't have an individual rate assigned.
- Different GST % based on slab — turn this on if you sell apparel or footwear. Enter your lower price threshold (e.g. ₹1,000). Products priced at or below this value will use their lower slab rate.
- Shipping Tax — turn this on if you charge GST on shipping fees. Enter the rate (e.g. 18%) and SAC code (e.g. 9968).
- Click Save.
To assign rates to specific products, go to Apps → GST Manager → Products.
3. Invoice Configuration
Customize your invoice layout, numbering, and branding:
- Open Settings → Invoice Configuration.
- Numbering — enter your Invoice prefix (e.g.
INV-FY-forINV-2025-26-0001) and Credit note prefix (e.g.CN-FY-). - Logo — upload your store logo (PNG, JPG, or SVG, under 200 KB).
- Signature — upload a signature image to appear above the authorized signatory line.
- Disclaimer — enter custom terms, bank details, or return policy text for the footer.
- MRP column — turn on to display Compare-at prices on line items.
- Click Save.
4. Store Locations (Pro)
If you dispatch goods from warehouses in multiple states:
- Open Settings → Store Locations.
- Click Add location.
- Select the matching Shopify location, enter its GSTIN, select its state, and enter the dispatch address.
- Click Save.
5. Email Delivery
Send invoice PDFs to customers automatically when an order is placed:
- Open Settings → Integrations → Email Delivery.
- Turn on Enable email delivery.
- Select which documents to send: Tax Invoice, Credit Note, or Proforma.
- Choose the delivery route: Send via GST Manager (free) or Use your own email via Resend/SMTP (Pro).
- Click Save.
6. Customer GST preferences
- Open Settings → Other Settings.
- Turn Allow customers to provide a GSTIN on or off.
- Choose whether to allow customers to enter multiple GSTINs or lock to their previous one.
- If using Shopify B2B (Pro), enable Use Shopify B2B Companies as canonical GSTIN source.
- Click Save.
