Whenever you make changes, click **Save** in the bottom bar to apply them.

## 1. Business Settings

Your registered business identity appears in the supplier header on every invoice:

1. Open **Settings → Business Settings**.
2. Enter or update your **Business legal name**, **Primary GSTIN**, **Registered state**, **Phone number**, and **Contact email**.
3. Tip: Click **Refresh from Shopify** to auto-fill your name, email, and address from your Shopify store profile.
4. Click **Save**.

## 2. Tax Configuration

Control how GST rates apply across your products:

1. Open **Settings → Tax Configuration**.
2. **Tax scope** — choose *Tax only products marked taxable in Shopify* (recommended) or *Tax all products*.
3. **Default GST rate (%)** — the fallback rate (usually 18%) used when a product doesn't have an individual rate assigned.
4. **Different GST % based on slab** — turn this on if you sell apparel or footwear. Enter your lower price threshold (e.g. ₹1,000). Products priced at or below this value will use their lower slab rate.
5. **Shipping Tax** — turn this on if you charge GST on shipping fees. Enter the rate (e.g. 18%) and SAC code (e.g. 9968).
6. Click **Save**.

To assign rates to specific products, go to **Apps → GST Manager → Products**.

## 3. Invoice Configuration

Customize your invoice layout, numbering, and branding:

1. Open **Settings → Invoice Configuration**.
2. **Numbering** — enter your **Invoice prefix** (e.g. `INV-FY-` for `INV-2025-26-0001`) and **Credit note prefix** (e.g. `CN-FY-`).
3. **Logo** — upload your store logo (PNG, JPG, or SVG, under 200 KB).
4. **Signature** — upload a signature image to appear above the authorized signatory line.
5. **Disclaimer** — enter custom terms, bank details, or return policy text for the footer.
6. **MRP column** — turn on to display Compare-at prices on line items.
7. Click **Save**.

## 4. Store Locations (Pro)

If you dispatch goods from warehouses in multiple states:

1. Open **Settings → Store Locations**.
2. Click **Add location**.
3. Select the matching Shopify location, enter its GSTIN, select its state, and enter the dispatch address.
4. Click **Save**.

## 5. Email Delivery

Send invoice PDFs to customers automatically when an order is placed:

1. Open **Settings → Integrations → Email Delivery**.
2. Turn on **Enable email delivery**.
3. Select which documents to send: **Tax Invoice**, **Credit Note**, or **Proforma**.
4. Choose the delivery route: *Send via GST Manager* (free) or *Use your own email* via Resend/SMTP (Pro).
5. Click **Save**.

## 6. Customer GST preferences

1. Open **Settings → Other Settings**.
2. Turn **Allow customers to provide a GSTIN** on or off.
