Updating
RelyAI updates itself from inside AcelleMail. Everything happens on RelyAI → Settings → Integrity & Updates, so you never have to hunt for a download or copy files by hand. An update downloads, verifies, takes a backup and applies itself in place — and if anything goes wrong it rolls back automatically to the version you were running.
RelyAI → Settings → Integrity & Updates
Check for updates
The panel shows your Installed version and a Check for updates button. Click it and RelyAI asks the update server what the latest release is:
- When a newer build exists you'll see Version :v available, Released :date, and a View changelog link so you can read what changed before you commit.
- When you're current you'll see Up to date — nothing to do.
- Sometimes you'll see Could not reach the update server (…). Your plugin continues to work normally. This is not an error. It usually just means no release has been pushed for your channel yet, or the server was briefly unreachable. Your installed version keeps running exactly as before; try again later.
Update now
When a release is available, click Update now. RelyAI first re-checks your license live, then runs the whole update in place: it downloads the new build, verifies it, takes a backup of the current version, and applies it. If any step fails, RelyAI auto-restores the previous version so you're never left half-updated.
You'll be asked to confirm first:
Download and install v:v now? A backup of the current version is taken first.
On success you'll see Updated to v:v successfully. If you'd rather update by hand — for example your server blocks the in-app download — you can always use the manual alternative: Admin → Plugins → Upload Plugin and upload the new RelyAI zip over the old one.
What updates need (by license type)
Your current, installed version always keeps working — an update never takes away what you already have.
- Leased licenses include updates for as long as the license stays active.
- Lifetime licenses let you keep the installed version forever; installing new releases needs an active Support & Updates plan.
See Licensing for how the two types differ.
If an update won't apply
If an update can't proceed, RelyAI tells you why in plain language:
- Your Support & Updates plan has expired or is not active… — your entitlement to new releases has lapsed. Renew, then re-activate on the License tab. Your installed version keeps running.
- v:v is published but its download is not yet available — please contact support. — the release exists but its build artifact isn't ready to serve.
- Could not reach the update server (…). Your plugin continues to work normally. — a connectivity issue; try again later.
- Update failed: :reason — the download or apply step didn't complete; RelyAI has already restored your previous version, so you're safe to retry.
