The chatbox

The chatbox is the floating chat bubble RelyAI mounts in the bottom-right corner of AcelleMail for your customers and your team. Out of the box it is a knowledge-base support chatbox: it answers product questions from the bundled knowledge base and takes no actions — it can read and explain, but it never changes anything. That makes it safe to leave on for everyone.

When you are ready for more, you can upgrade the same bubble into an agent that actually does things for you — creating lists, building automations, tagging subscribers and more — always asking before anything destructive and always leaving you a way to undo it.

Ask it a product question

Click the launcher to open the chat panel and type your question in plain language — "how do I set up a bounce handler?", "what's the difference between a list and a segment?". The support chatbox answers from RelyAI's built-in knowledge base and stays read-only, so you can hand it to customers without worrying that a stray message will change a setting. This is exactly what the Support chatbox feature flag controls, and it ships on by default.

Turn it into an agent

To let the chatbox act, an administrator turns on Agent chat under RelyAI → Settings → Feature Flags. It is an advanced switch and ships off — you opt in deliberately, and you need an engine whose model supports tool use. Once it is on, the same bubble can call the capabilities you have enabled (see Agent tools), and each capability stays its own separate flag so you decide exactly how much the agent can do.

Where it appears

The chatbox lives in the corner of AcelleMail wherever you are. On pages that support agent actions you'll also see an AI Assist · … pill, so the agent's reach is always visible on the page itself.

What you'll see while it works

Three touches make the agent feel calm and trustworthy, each governed by its own flag (all on by default):

  • Smart-Wait progress. While a request is running, a live "thinking" status shows what the agent is doing instead of leaving you staring at a spinner.
  • Interactive replies. Answers can render as more than text: confirm dialogs before an action, option chips to pick between choices, and previews of what a change will look like.
  • Undo. Every agent action offers an inline Undo button, and you can also press Cmd+Z, for as long as the undo window is open. Anything destructive asks you to confirm before it runs, too.

Everything is on the record

Every conversation — support or agent — is stored and reviewable. You can replay a session message by message under RelyAI → Conversations, and every tool call the agent made lands in the Audit Viewer. Nothing the assistant does is hidden from you.
