Installation

RelyAI installs like any other AcelleMail plugin: you upload a zip, activate it, activate your license, and connect an AI engine. There are no core patches and no SSH work — everything happens in the AcelleMail admin. Set aside about ten minutes.

Before you start, make sure your server meets the Requirements, and have your RelyAI license key and an AI provider key handy.

Step 1 — Upload the plugin

In the AcelleMail admin, go to Plugins → Upload Plugin and upload the RelyAI zip you downloaded from your Relyweb account. AcelleMail installs it under storage/app/plugins/relyweb/relyai/ and runs its migrations automatically, adding the RelyAI configuration tables. You don't need to touch the filesystem yourself.

Step 2 — Activate

Once the upload finishes, activate the plugin from the Plugins list. A new RelyAI group appears in the AcelleMail sidebar — with Dashboard, Engines, Feature Flags, the observability dashboards, and Settings. The AI surfaces stay dormant until you finish the next two steps.

Step 3 — Activate your license

Open RelyAI → Settings → License, paste the key from your Relyweb account, and click Activate. Your domain, IP, and install path are validated on activation, and the key is stored encrypted and only ever shown masked. AI features unlock once the license verifies as Active on this domain. For key types and management, see Licensing.

Step 4 — Connect an engine

Finally, go to RelyAI → Settings → Engines & Keys and add an engine: pick a Provider, choose a Model, and paste the matching API key (leave the key blank for a local Ollama endpoint). Click Test Connection — you should see "Connection successful" — then set the engine as your Default so RelyAI knows which one to use for AI calls.

That's it: the chatbox, rewrite popover, subject suggestions and coaches are now ready to turn on. For the full provider walkthrough, see Connect an engine, then continue to Configuration to switch on the features you want.
