Appearance
Settings
Everything for the Razorpay plugin lives on one screen: Admin → Plugins → Razorpay → Settings (you must be signed in as an admin, because the page renders your API Key Secret). You enter your license and Razorpay credentials here once, and both the Razorpay (Direct Payment) and Razorpay Subscription gateways share them — there is no per-gateway setup.
Admin → Plugins → Razorpay → Settings
The page has two cards, described below, followed by a single Save Settings button.
License
This card holds your license key and shows its current status as a badge:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | The license is valid. Both Razorpay gateways are enabled. |
| Not configured | No license key has been entered yet. |
| Invalid — payment gateway is disabled | The key was rejected; the gateways will not appear. |
- License Key — paste the key from your relyweb.co account.
When the license is valid, the card shows: "License is active. Both Razorpay (direct payment) and Razorpay Subscription gateways are enabled." When it is not, it shows: "License is not active. Razorpay gateways will not appear in Payment Gateway options until a valid license is entered and saved."
The status comes from a local background check against relyweb.co. Brief network outages are tolerated; if the badge slips, re-save Settings to restore it. See Licensing for the full picture.
Service Configuration
These credentials come from your Razorpay Dashboard → API Keys and are shared by both gateways:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| API Key ID * | Placeholder rzp_live_.... Your Razorpay Key ID (starts with rzp_live_ or rzp_test_). |
| API Key Secret * | Entered as a password. Keep this confidential — never expose it in client-side code. |
| Webhook Secret (optional) | From Razorpay Dashboard → Webhooks. Used to verify incoming webhook requests. |
The webhook URL to paste into the Razorpay dashboard is shown inline on this card:
https://YOUR_DOMAIN/cashier/razorpay/webhooksNo sandbox toggle
There is no Sandbox checkbox here. The environment is chosen entirely by your key prefix — rzp_test_ keys run in test mode, rzp_live_ keys run in live mode. To switch, just swap the keys and re-save.
Fields marked * are required. Click Save Settings to store everything; with a valid license, the gateways are created automatically.
