Uninstalling

You can stop GeoSync Pro at any time. Deactivating is safe and reversible; fully removing your data is a separate, deliberate step. This page covers both, plus a lighter option if you only want to pause the feature for a while.

Deactivate (reversible)

To turn GeoSync Pro off, go to Setup → Addon Modules, find GeoSync Pro, and click Deactivate. WHMCS confirms with:

"GeoSync Pro deactivated. Database tables preserved."

Deactivation removes the generated files (the hook loader), so currency switching stops immediately — guests go back to your store's normal currency behaviour. Your database tables are preserved on purpose — both your configuration and your analytics history stay intact — so deactivating and later reactivating is lossless: everything picks up right where it left off.

Remove all data (irreversible)

If you want to erase GeoSync Pro's data entirely — for example, before removing the module for good — first deactivate it (above), then drop its database tables manually. GeoSync Pro's tables are all named with the prefix mod_geosync_pro_*.

This cannot be undone

Dropping the mod_geosync_pro_* tables permanently deletes your configuration and all analytics history. There is no way to recover it afterwards. Take a database backup first, and only do this if you're sure you no longer need the data.

Temporarily disable instead

You don't have to deactivate the whole module to stop localising currencies. Open Addons → GeoSync Pro → Currency and toggle Enable Currency Localisation off. Currency switching stops right away, while your mappings, settings and analytics all stay in place — flip it back on whenever you're ready.

Empty analytics after replacing files?

If you updated GeoSync Pro by replacing its files manually — without reactivating — and the analytics panel shows nothing, the analytics table may not have been (re)created. Deactivate GeoSync Pro and then reactivate it once; reactivation recreates the analytics table, and your existing configuration is preserved, so this is safe to do.
