Error reference
Search this page for the exact wording you saw in the WHMCS admin. Each entry explains what the message means and what to do next. For step-by-step fixes, see Troubleshooting.
Activation & deactivation
"GeoSync Pro activated successfully. Configure the module in Addons → GeoSync Pro."
What it means: Activation worked. GeoSync Pro set up its database tables (including the analytics table), deployed the hook loader, and created the file-integrity baseline.
What to do: Nothing's broken — go to Addons → GeoSync Pro to add your license key and configure currency mappings. See Installation.
"Activation failed: …"
What it means: Something stopped activation from completing (the message continues with the specific reason).
What to do: Check the WHMCS Activity Log for the full detail. Common causes are missing PHP requirements or a directory that isn't writable — see Requirements — then try activating again.
"GeoSync Pro deactivated. Database tables preserved."
What it means: The module was deactivated and its hook loader removed, so client-area currency switching stops. Your database tables (configuration and analytics) are kept, so a deactivate/reactivate is lossless.
What to do: Nothing, unless you meant to remove data entirely — see Uninstalling.
Admin confirmations
"Sync completed successfully."
What it means: A file sync finished and GeoSync Pro's files match their verified baseline.
What to do: Nothing. If you triggered a sync to clear a file-integrity warning, it's resolved. See Sync Status.
"Settings saved successfully."
What it means: Your changes were saved.
What to do: Nothing — carry on.
Update messages
These appear under Addons → GeoSync Pro → Settings → Update Status.
"… is published but its download is not yet available"
What it means: A new release was announced, but its installer isn't live yet. Update Now stays disabled until it is.
What to do: Wait a short while and Check for Updates again. Nothing is wrong with your installation.
"Failed to download update…"
What it means: GeoSync Pro couldn't fetch the update package.
What to do: Confirm outbound HTTPS isn't blocked by a firewall and that your license (and, for Lifetime, your Support & Updates plan) is active and authorised for this build, then retry. See Licensing.
"Backup verification failed…"
What it means: GeoSync Pro backs up files and the database before applying an update. This message means the backup couldn't be verified, so the update stopped before changing anything — your installation is untouched.
What to do: Make sure the module's directory is writable and that there's enough free disk space, then try the update again. See Updates & backups.
ionCube
GeoSync Pro's shipped build is ionCube-encoded. If the ionCube Loader is missing or too old for your PHP version, the module's pages won't load at all — so you may not see a GeoSync Pro message, just a blank or generic PHP error.
WARNING
If GeoSync Pro's admin pages don't load, ask your host to enable ionCube Loader (13.0.2 or newer; 14.4.0 recommended, and required for PHP 8.3) for your PHP version. See Requirements.
