Installation

Installing GeoSync Pro takes just a few minutes. You'll upload the module, activate it in WHMCS, enter your license key, then map countries to currencies. Before you start, make sure your server meets the Requirements — especially the ionCube Loader.

1. Upload the module

Upload the modules/addons/geosync_pro/ folder into your WHMCS installation, keeping the same path. Use SFTP, your host's file manager, or whichever method you normally use for WHMCS modules.

2. Activate in WHMCS

In the WHMCS admin, go to Setup → Addon Modules, find GeoSync Pro in the list, and click Activate.

Activation does the one-time setup for you: it creates the database tables (including the analytics table that powers your dashboard), deploys the hook loader that switches currencies on your client-area pages, and creates a file-integrity baseline so tampering can be detected later.

When it's done, you'll see:

GeoSync Pro activated successfully. Configure the module in Addons → GeoSync Pro.

3. Enter your license key

Open Addons → GeoSync Pro → Settings → License and enter your license key. Currency localisation only runs with an active license, so do this before you expect visitors to see localised prices. See Licensing for the difference between Leased and Lifetime keys.

4. Configure your currency mappings

Now tell GeoSync Pro which currency each country should see. Go to Addons → GeoSync Pro → Currency.

Here you'll turn on Enable Currency Localisation, pick a Default Currency (used when a visitor's country can't be detected or has no mapping), and add country → currency mappings using ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country codes such as IN, GB or JP. The full walkthrough lives in Configuration.

That's it

Your mapped currencies must already exist and be active under Setup → Payments → Currencies. Once they do, guests will start seeing local prices automatically — read Currency localisation to see exactly how detection works.
