Settings reference
This page lists every control in GeoSync Pro and what it does, with defaults where they apply. For the step-by-step setup flow, see Configuration. All controls live under Addons → GeoSync Pro.
Currency tab
Found under Addons → GeoSync Pro → Currency, in the Currency Localisation section — "Automatically set the client area currency based on the visitor's location."
Addons → GeoSync Pro → Currency
| Field | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enable Currency Localisation | Toggle | Off | Auto-detect a visitor's location and set currency accordingly. For logged-in users, their profile currency is always used. |
| Hide Currency Switcher | Toggle | Off | Hides the currency selection dropdown and the registration-page currency field for logged-out visitors. |
| Default Currency | Select | — | Used when the visitor's country can't be detected or has no mapping configured. |
Country-to-Currency Mappings table
Each row maps one country to the currency its visitors should see. Add rows with Add Mapping.
| Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Country Code | An ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code (e.g. IN, GB, JP), or EU as a single rule for all 27 EU member states |
| Currency | The WHMCS currency to serve visitors from that country |
Active WHMCS currencies (reference)
A read-only reference so you can see which currencies exist and are active in WHMCS. Mapped currencies must exist and be active under Setup → Payments → Currencies.
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ID | The WHMCS internal currency ID |
| Code | Currency code (e.g. USD, EUR) |
| Prefix | Symbol shown before the amount |
| Suffix | Symbol or text shown after the amount |
| Exchange Rate | WHMCS conversion rate relative to your default |
| Default | Whether this is your WHMCS default currency |

Addons → GeoSync Pro → Settings
General Settings
| Field | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Debug Mode | Toggle | Off | Enables verbose logging for troubleshooting — logs GeoIP lookups and currency resolution to the WHMCS activity log. Leave off in normal use. |
| Admin Notes | Textarea | — | Internal notes for your own reference. Not displayed anywhere else. |
Sync Status
Shows deployment health and a File Integrity panel, keeping your addon files verified and repaired. Auto-Sync re-deploys or repairs files on admin page load whenever a mismatch is detected; a manual Sync control lets you run it on demand (success flash: "Sync completed successfully."). The Sync history table records what happened:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Date | When the sync ran |
| Changes | What was updated or repaired |
| Action | The type of sync (e.g. auto or manual) |
| Status | Outcome (success or failure) |
| Message | Details for that entry |
See File integrity for how verification works.
Update Status
Manage one-click updates here. It shows your Current Installation (installed version), a Check for Updates action, Update Now, release notes, and a Database Backups list:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Taken | When the backup was captured |
| Version | The version at the time of backup |
| Size | Backup file size |
| Download | Retrieve the backup (store it privately) |
Updates are also checked automatically once a day. See Updating for the full flow.
License Information
View and manage your license key. It shows the detected license type and, for a Lifetime license, whether Support & Updates is active and until when. See Licensing for how the two license types behave.
