Installation
Installing Cashfree is a four-step job you do once from the AcelleMail admin: upload the plugin, activate it, enter your license and Cashfree credentials, and save. There are no core patches to apply and no SSH needed — once you Save Settings with a valid license, both gateways appear on their own.
Before you start, make sure your server meets the Requirements and have your Cashfree App ID and Secret Key handy (see Get your API keys).
Step 1 — Upload the plugin
Log in to AcelleMail as an admin and go to Admin → Plugins → Upload Plugin. Upload the plugin archive you downloaded from your relyweb.co client area — the file is named like relyweb-cashfree-vX.Y.Z.zip. AcelleMail unpacks it and lists Cashfree among your plugins.

Step 2 — Activate
Find Cashfree in the plugin list and click Activate. Activation registers the plugin with AcelleMail. Nothing is charged and no gateway is visible yet — that happens after you enter your license and keys in the next step.
Step 3 — Enter license and credentials
Open Admin → Plugins → Cashfree → Settings and fill in:
- License Key — the key from your relyweb.co account.
- App ID — your Cashfree
x-client-id. - Secret Key — your Cashfree
x-client-secret. - Sandbox — tick this while testing with Cashfree TEST keys; leave it unticked for live production keys.
- Webhook Secret (optional) — your endpoint-specific secret; leave it blank to verify webhooks with your Secret Key.
Then click Save Settings. Saving is what activates everything: AcelleMail validates your license and stores your credentials.

Test first with Sandbox
Tick Sandbox and use your TEST keys to run test payments end to end before you switch to live production keys. See Going live when you are ready.
Step 4 — The gateways appear
Once you have saved with a valid, Active license, Cashfree and Cashfree Subscription appear automatically in Admin → Payment Gateways — there is no manual "Add" step. Both gateways share the credentials you just entered.
With the gateways in place, finish the two setup jobs:
- Configure webhooks so Cashfree can notify AcelleMail of payment and subscription events.
- Set up subscriptions if you plan to bill recurring plans with the Cashfree Subscription gateway.
If the gateways do not show after saving, your license may not be Active yet, or the server may not be able to reach relyweb.co on port 443 — see Troubleshooting.
