Backup and restore

The Cashfree plugin has no built-in backup system — and it doesn't need one. Your gateway configuration lives in AcelleMail's own database and persists across plugin updates, so protecting it is simply part of protecting AcelleMail itself. Follow standard AcelleMail backup practice and you're covered.

What to back up

Your Cashfree settings — the license key, App ID, Secret Key, Sandbox toggle and any Webhook Secret, plus the plan mappings for the Subscription gateway — are stored in AcelleMail's database, not in the plugin files. Your payment and transaction records live there too. So a regular AcelleMail database backup captures everything the gateway relies on.

  • Keep regular database backups on your normal AcelleMail schedule.
  • Take a fresh backup before big changes — updating the plugin, switching from Sandbox to live, or rotating your Cashfree credentials.

Nothing plugin-specific to save

The gateways use AcelleMail's own payment tables and add no custom database tables of their own, so there's no separate export to keep. A whole-database backup is enough.

Rolling back

If an update misbehaves, you can roll back:

  1. Download the previous version's ZIP from your relyweb.co client area.
  2. Re-upload it via Admin → Plugins → Upload Plugin — this restores the older files in place.
  3. Only if the newer version had changed stored data do you also need to restore your database backup. For a straightforward version rollback, re-uploading the previous ZIP is usually all that's required, since your settings persist untouched.

After rolling back, confirm the license badge still reads Active and that both gateways appear in Admin → Payment Gateways.
