Errors

Messages you may see, grouped by area. Each line gives the message, what it means, and how to fix it. For step-by-step help see Troubleshooting.

ionCube

"ionCube Loader required" (on install, or a parse/blank page) — the server has no active ionCube Loader. Enable ionCube Loader 13.0.2 or newer on PHP 8.2–8.5, then confirm with php -m | grep -i ioncube. See Requirements.

Active — the license is valid; both gateways are enabled. No action needed.
Not configured — no key entered. Add your key in Plugin Settings and Save.
Invalid — payment gateway is disabled — the key is not valid; neither gateway appears. Re-enter a correct key and Save Settings.
"Cashfree plugin license is not active. Please contact the administrator." — shown to a customer at checkout when the license has lapsed. Restore a valid, Active license and Save.

"Payment session not found or expired." — the checkout session timed out or was already closed. Start the payment again.
"Payment verification failed. Please try again." — the server could not confirm the outcome with Cashfree. Retry; if it persists, check the AcelleMail log.
"We could not start your payment. Please try again or contact support." — the payment could not be created. Retry, and verify your credentials.
authentication Failed (from Cashfree) — the App ID, Secret Key, or Sandbox setting don't match. Confirm Test keys with Sandbox ticked, or Production keys with it unticked, then Save. See Settings.

"Cashfree Subscription — Not available for this plan" — the plan isn't mapped or isn't INR-priced, so the Subscription gateway is hidden for it. Map the plan (same currency and amount) in Remote Plan Mappings.
plan_details.plan_id_invalid — the plan_id doesn't exist in Cashfree. Create the plan in Cashfree, copy its plan_id, and map it. See Set up subscriptions.

Webhook not verifying — the signature check failed. Set or clear the Webhook Secret to match your endpoint, confirm the webhook version is 2025-01-01, and check the Cashfree IP whitelist. See Configure webhooks.
