File integrity & sync

Relyagent watches its own files so you can trust that what's running is exactly what you installed. This matters because Relyagent is the bridge between your WHMCS and outside AI clients — you want to be certain nothing has been altered underneath it.

What integrity checking does for you

Relyagent keeps a signed baseline of its deployed files. Whenever you open the module, it compares the files on disk against that baseline and flags anything that has been tampered with or is missing. You'll see this on the Settings → Sync tab as either an Everything In Sync banner (with the reassurance "All deployed files match the HMAC-signed baseline.") or a Sync Required banner when something doesn't match.

In short: if a file was changed by a bad upload, a partial update, or anything else, you find out right away instead of chasing mysterious behaviour later.

Auto-Sync and running a sync

• Auto-Sync — a toggle that, when on, re-deploys the correct files automatically on admin page load whenever a mismatch is detected. This is the hands-off option: small drifts get repaired for you.
• Run sync manually — the Sync control on Settings → Sync re-deploys the files on demand. On success you'll see "Sync completed successfully."
• Sync status — the banner tells you at a glance whether everything matches the baseline or a sync is needed.

When a sync is needed

You'll typically want to run a sync (or rely on Auto-Sync) after:

• a manual update, where you replaced the module files yourself and want the deployed hook files brought back in line, or
• any time the Sync Required banner appears, meaning a deployed file no longer matches the signed baseline.

TIP

If you prefer not to think about this, turn on Auto-Sync and let Relyagent keep its files in line for you. Either way, the Sync tab always shows you the current status.
