Uninstalling
Removing PayGlocal for WHMCS is a two-step idea: deactivate it to stop taking payments (this is reversible), or delete the files to remove it completely. Choose based on whether you might want it back.
Deactivate (reversible)
Deactivating leaves the files in place but takes PayGlocal out of service:
- Go to Setup → Payment Gateways and open the All Payment Gateways tab.
- Find PayGlocal and deactivate it.
Once deactivated, PayGlocal no longer appears as a payment option and payments stop. Your saved configuration is retained, so you can reactivate later without re-entering everything.
Just pausing payments?
Deactivating is the clean way to temporarily disable PayGlocal — for example while you switch between sandbox and live keys, or pause international card payments. There's no need to delete files.
Remove all data (irreversible)
To remove PayGlocal completely, deactivate it first (above), then delete these files from your WHMCS installation:
modules/gateways/payglocal.php- the
modules/gateways/payglocal/folder modules/gateways/callback/payglocal.php
After deleting the files, PayGlocal is fully gone from WHMCS.
Your RSA keys are separate
The .pem keys you uploaded live outside the web root and are not removed by deleting the module files. If you're decommissioning entirely, delete those key copies too — but keep them if you might reinstall later.
