# Errors

This page groups the messages you might see from the Razorpay plugin, with a short meaning and fix
for each. If a customer is stuck at checkout, start with the **Payment** and **License** groups; if
the gateways won't appear at all, start with **License**.

## ionCube

| Message | Meaning / fix |
| --- | --- |
| **ionCube Loader required** (or a parse error on install) | The server is missing the ionCube Loader. Enable **ionCube Loader 13.0.2 or newer** on PHP 8.2–8.5, then retry. |

## License

| Message / badge | Meaning / fix |
| --- | --- |
| **Active** | The license is valid — both Razorpay gateways are enabled. No action needed. |
| **Not configured** | No license key entered yet. Add your key in **Plugin Settings** and Save. |
| **Invalid — payment gateway is disabled** | The key was rejected. Re-check the key from relyweb.co, confirm outbound HTTPS, and re-save. |
| **Razorpay plugin license is not active. Please contact the administrator.** | Shown to the customer at checkout when the license has lapsed. Renew or re-enter the key. |

## Payment

| Message | Meaning / fix |
| --- | --- |
| **Payment session not found or expired.** | The payment attempt timed out or the page was stale. Start the payment again. |
| **Payment verification failed. Please try again.** | The signature check on the callback did not pass. Confirm your Key ID/Secret are correct and retry. |
| **Payment could not be completed. Please try again.** | The charge did not go through at Razorpay. The customer should retry or use another method. |
| **Payment was cancelled.** | The customer closed or cancelled the Razorpay checkout. No charge was made; they can retry. |

## Subscription

| Message | Meaning / fix |
| --- | --- |
| **Razorpay Subscription — Not available for this plan** | The plan isn't mapped or isn't INR-priced. Map it in **Admin → Remote Plan Mappings** to a matching INR Razorpay plan. |

## Webhook

| Symptom | Meaning / fix |
| --- | --- |
| Webhook events not arriving or being rejected | The URL or Webhook Secret doesn't match. Set the same **Webhook Secret** in both the Razorpay dashboard and Plugin Settings, and point the dashboard at `https://YOUR_DOMAIN/cashier/razorpay/webhooks`. |
