# GST Manager for Shopify

GST Manager adds **Indian GST compliance** to your Shopify store:

* Captures the buyer's **GSTIN** at checkout or from B2B records.
* Calculates the **CGST / SGST / IGST** split on every order.
* Generates compliant, numbered **tax invoices** and **credit notes**.
* Exports **GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B reports** ready for your accountant.

Everything runs **inside your Shopify admin** — there is no external portal to log into.

## How it works for your store

| Step | What happens |
| --- | --- |
| **1. Customer orders** | The buyer enters their GSTIN on your cart page, or orders through Shopify B2B |
| **2. GST calculated** | The app splits tax into CGST + SGST (same state) or IGST (different state) based on product rates |
| **3. Invoice issued** | A branded PDF invoice is generated automatically with your logo, signature, and GST breakdown |
| **4. Customer downloads** | The customer downloads their invoice directly from their Shopify account or gets it by email |
| **5. Filing reports** | At month-end, export GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B spreadsheets with one click |

## Getting started in 3 steps

1. **Install the app** from the Shopify App Store.
2. **Complete the 4-step Quick setup wizard** to enter your GSTIN, legal name, and invoice prefix.
3. **Set Shopify taxes to 0%** so tax isn't counted twice.
