# Error reference

This page collects the messages GST Manager can show you or your customers, grouped by where they
appear, with a one-line explanation and the fix for each. For step-by-step problem solving, see

## ionCube

**"ionCube Loader required. Contact support@relyweb.co"**
The server is missing the ionCube Loader, so the plugin cannot run. Install ionCube Loader 13.0.2 or
newer for your PHP version — see [Requirements](/gst-manager-acellemail/requirements) — then reload.

## License and access

**"GST Manager needs an active license before you can use Dashboard, Setup, or Reports. Paste your
key below to activate."**
No license key is stored yet. Paste your key on the License page and activate it.

**"The stored GST Manager license key is not currently Active on the Relyweb license server.
Re-activate below to restore access."**
Your stored key is not currently Active — usually after a prolonged outage or a binding mismatch.
Click **Re-activate** on the License page to restore access.

**"GST Manager is not licensed on this install. Activate a license key under Plugin Settings →
License."**
The install has no valid license. Go to **Plugin Settings → License** and activate a key.

**"License could not be activated: :reason"**
Activation was rejected — the `:reason` explains why (for example a domain, IP or install-path
mismatch). Check the key and the binding, then try again.

**"License deactivated on this domain."**
Confirmation that you have deactivated the license on this domain. The GST admin surface locks back
to the License page until you activate again.

**"License activated — welcome, :name."**
Confirmation that your license is now Active and the full admin surface is unlocked.

## Updates

**"Could not reach the update server (...). Your plugin continues to work normally."**
The plugin could not reach the release registry. This is ordinary when no release has been pushed
yet — it is a "cannot reach", not a fault. Your plugin keeps working; try again later.

**"Your Support & Updates plan has expired or is not active. Renew it to install updates. Your
current version continues to work normally."**
A newer release exists but your Lifetime license's Support & Updates plan is not active. Renew it to
install updates; your current version keeps working regardless.

**"vX is published but its download is not yet available — please contact support."**
The release is listed but its download artifact is not ready yet. Contact support@relyweb.co.

**"Update failed: :reason"**
The in-place update could not complete; `:reason` explains why. The plugin rolls back automatically
to the previous version — review the reason and retry.

**"Update verification failed"**
The downloaded release did not pass verification, so it was not applied and the previous version was
kept. Retry the update, or upload the release manually via **Admin → Plugins → Upload Plugin**.

## Invoice download

**"Invoice not found."**
The requested invoice does not exist (or the number is wrong). Check the invoice number and try
again.

**"You are not allowed to view this invoice."**
The signed-in account is not permitted to view that invoice. Sign in as the invoice's owner or an
admin.

## GSTIN

**"GSTIN is invalid."**
The GSTIN failed validation — the 15-character format, state code, embedded PAN or check digit is
wrong. Re-enter it in the format `22AAAAA0000A1Z5`. A valid entry shows "GSTIN format is valid."
